I recently stayed at this luxurious hotel and I must say, it was quite an experience. The location of this place is absolutely fantastic. It is right on the Nagara river, giving you stunning views of the river and the surrounding natural beauty. And let me tell you, the view from the breakfast room was simply superb. I also loved that it was located on top of a mountain across the river, which added an extra level of tranquility and serenity to my stay.
In conclusion, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay. The location, service, and room amenities all exceeded my expectations.

Beautiful River View and Great Buffet
My recent weekend stay at a large hotel in a peaceful area of Gifu was delightful. I loved the gorgeous view of the river and mountain right from the room, and we were lucky enough to catch the traditional nighttime cormorant fishing event from the hotel itself. The hotel also offered a wide variety of cuisines at their buffet breakfast, with chefs on hand to make omelets and other dishes to order.
Few Activities in the Area and Expensive Restaurants I was a bit disappointed that there were not many attractions within walking distance of the hotel and that the options for dining outside of their pricier restaurant choices were minimal. However, the hotel did offer a convenient shuttle and taxis to the nearby castle and park, which made it easier to explore the area. I had a pleasant stay and enjoyed the hotel's amenities.

The hotel's location near the river is stunning and provides ample opportunities for outdoor activities. the Japanese-themed rooms are beautiful and spacious, with a traditional feel. the staff is polite and courteous, always ready to help with any requests. the breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of both Japanese and Western options, satisfying any palate. the hot spring bath house is a definite plus, with multiple baths and a sauna to relax in.
The hotel's interior could use some updating, as some areas feel slightly outdated and faded in glory.

Great hotel for business with a beautiful view! The hotel was easy to access, just a few minutes away from the train station by car. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds and included free internet access. The buffet breakfast, which was served in one of the hotel's large event halls, was extensive with a variety of options available. The location of the hotel, next to the river, was stunning and provided great views of the forest and mountains nearby. the hotel was a perfect choice for my business trip.
The service at the hotel could have been better. While the staff was polite, they could have been more helpful.
